Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapies

Your body's own growth factors, used to brighten, smooth, and strengthen the skin.

About PRP Therapies

PRP uses your body’s own growth factors to improve skin texture, tone, brightness, and firmness. It can be injected or combined with microneedling, making it a versatile option for facial rejuvenation, under-eye refreshment, and hair restoration.

Best For

  • Dullness
  • Fine lines
  • Under-eye circles
  • Puffiness
  • Texture
  • Pores
  • Melasma support

Why PRP

  • Uses your body’s own growth factors — nothing synthetic added
  • Three formulations (PRP, PRFM, PBF) tuned to different goals
  • Layers seamlessly into microneedling, Halo, Morpheus8, and Fractora
  • Improves texture, tone, brightness, and firmness from within
  • All-natural with an excellent long-term safety profile

How It Works

  1. 01

    Blood Draw

A small sample of blood is drawn from your arm at the start of your visit, just like at a routine lab.

  2. 02

    Centrifuge & Preparation

Your blood is processed in a specialized centrifuge to separate platelets and growth factors. The spin protocol is selected for the chosen formulation — PRP, PRFM, or PBF.

  3. 03

    Injection or Layering

Depending on your treatment plan, your prepared PRP is injected directly into target areas, layered on the skin after needling or laser, or both. The visit takes 60 to 90 minutes total.

What to Expect

  • 60- to 90-minute total visit including blood draw and prep
  • Mild redness and pinpoint bruising for 1 to 3 days at injection sites
  • Visible improvement begins at 2 to 4 weeks; full results at 3 months
  • Best results from a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart
  • Performed by board-certified dermatologists

Pricing

Three PRP formulations are available, each priced the same. The right preparation depends on your goal — routine rejuvenation, longer-lasting volume support, or natural lift. Your dermatologist will recommend which fits your treatment plan.

PRP

Platelet-Rich Plasma

Standard preparation. Blood is spun at high speed to concentrate platelets and growth factors. Used for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and post-laser healing.

$1,000

PRFM

Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix

Spun at lower speed and activated with calcium gluconate to create a fibrin matrix. Retains more platelets for longer-lasting results — ideal for deep wrinkles, scars, and volume loss.

$1,000

PBF

Pure Spin Biofill

Heated platelet-poor plasma combined with PRP. Provides immediate volumizing effects and several weeks of cell signaling — used for soft-tissue augmentation and natural lift.

$1,000

Combination Treatments

PRP is commonly layered into laser or microneedling treatments to accelerate healing and amplify collagen response. Supplemental PRP costs, for either layering or layering plus injecting, are listed below.

  • Halo + PRP Layered topically
    +$500
  • Halo + PRP Layered + injected
    +$1,000
  • Morpheus8 + PRP Single spin, layered

    +$1,000
  • Fractora + PRP Injected and layered
    +$500
  • Microneedling + PRP Layered topically

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between PRP, PRFM, and PBF?

All three are derived from your blood. PRP is the standard preparation, spun at high speed for high concentration of platelets. PRFM is spun at lower speed and activated to form a fibrin matrix that retains more growth factors for longer-lasting results. PBF (Pure Spin Biofill) heats platelet-poor plasma to create a natural injectable with immediate volumizing effects.

Does PRP hurt?

Topical numbing is applied before treatment. Most patients describe the injection sensation as mild pinpricks. The blood draw feels like any routine lab.

How many PRP sessions do I need?

For most aesthetic concerns, a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended. For hair restoration, the protocol is typically 3 sessions 1 to 2 months apart followed by maintenance.

Can PRP be combined with other treatments?

Yes — PRP layers beautifully with microneedling, Halo, Morpheus8, Fractora, and ProFractional. Combination treatments accelerate healing and amplify the collagen response.

Is PRP safe?

PRP uses only your own blood, so allergic reaction is essentially impossible. The technique has been used safely in medicine for decades.

How long do PRP results last?

PRP results build over 3 months and typically last 12 to 18 months. Many patients return for a single session annually to maintain results.

When can I exercise after PRP?

Light activity the day of treatment is fine. We recommend waiting 24 hours before strenuous exercise so the injected PRP can settle into the treatment area.
